Depois de participar da Volta da Pampulha, Meia Maratona do Rio, Circuito das estações, Meia Maratona da linha verde, Corrida Eu atleta, São Silvestre, Gustavo Dias completou sua primeira maratona.
Como dissemos na última publicação, quando destacamos a estreia de Caroline Barchi (clique aqui), hoje daremos destaque ao nosso maratonista estreante, Gustavo Dias. É mais um aluno da Teo Esporte que superou desafios pessoais para chegar onde chegou.
Gustavo iniciou sua preparação para a Maratona do Rio em janeiro, passando por rigoroso acompanhamento nutricional, além de um treinamento puxado com a equipe da Teo Esportes. O resultado de todo seu esforço foi completar a prova e pronto para mais desafios.

Atividade física por que?
Desde criança gosto muito de praticar esportes, iniciei minha trajetória no esporte através do futebol de salão e depois deste momento não larguei mais. Aos 11 anos de idade fui diagnosticado com Diabetes Tipo 1 e depois desta descoberta, tive que alterar muito a minha rotina de vida e o esporte foi fundamental para controlar minha doença. Já pratiquei futebol de campo, natação e atualmente somente a corrida.
A importância da corrida
A prática de esporte é de suma importância na minha vida, para um ótimo controle da minha doença, gera um bem-estar mental e alivia o estresse e ansiedade do dia a dia.
Sobre sua primeira maratona
Foi incrível conseguir realizar este sonho.
Sua preparação para esta competição
– Início da preparação: Janeiro 2016
– Criação de uma dieta alimentar através de um nutricionista
– Criação de um plano de dosagem de insulina em conjunto com uma médica endocrinologista, em virtude do aumento de volume e frequência de treinos.
– Treinamento em academia para reforço muscular
– Criação de um treinamento de corrida voltado para a maratona

A corrida que mais me marcou foi a Volta da Pampulha 2015, consegui reduzir a minha meta de tempo em 3 minutos, completando a prova em 1h27min.

A preparação com a equipe Teo Esportes foi fundamental para conseguir completar esta maratona, pois a equipe tem profissionais muito bem capacitados e que conseguem adequar a realidade e necessidade de cada aluno.
